  I would suggest avoiding this dentist office. I believe they tried to keep over $400 of overpayment by myself. This was several years ago but I received an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance shortly after my service but did not review it until months later. The “patient pay” amount on the EOB was significantly less than what I had paid out of pocket to the office. I had been back to their office several times since then to deal with pain in my tooth (that I still suffer from to this day). When I found the EOB again I called to discuss with the billing person, she agreed that I over paid but that they were keeping it as a credit for any future services. This was NEVER communicated to me and had I known they were holding a credit, I would have used it or asked for it back. She told me she would investigate and get back to me. After no contact, I contacted her again and she stated that she’s been trying to get the information/EOB from my insurance company but was having difficulty. I happened to work for that dental insurance company at the time and thought this was a lie to begin with. I was able to get the information within 30 minutes from my contacts in the company without issue. I don’t think she even called them at all! I sent it over via email and waited, still no contact. I contacted them again and she said she received it and will process the overpayment back to my credit card. This time frame was about 6 weeks from when I noticed the overpayment to when I received the amount credited back to my card. I think if I didn’t follow up, I would have never gotten it back and it would have been swept under the rug. Furthermore, they told me I needed a deep cleaning and that insurance didn’t cover it so I would again have to pay out of pocket for the service (I think it was a couple hundred at least). I am now at a new dentist office in Phoenix and they have never told me I needed a deep cleaning. Extremely shady place! I hope that it has changed over the years but I’m glad I don’t live near there anymore.
